  • Your arm or buttock may be sore at the injection site (similar to flu shot) for up to 24 hours. Although it is rare, it is possible that some patients may feel lightheaded after a shot. If this occurs, your provider will likely lie you flat and lift your legs until the sensation subsides.

  • Lipo-B12 injections are contraindicated in those who are pregnant or breastfeeding (for breastfeeding mothers. Individuals with an allergy to cobalt or an allergy to B-12.
